  4. If you are a Doctor Who fan, just reblog. It will make sense later.

  5. I heard this song a little while ago. I can’t stop listening to it. When I first heard it, I thought of falling in love and rain. It is magical. My kind of magic.

  6. I’m incredibly happy right now guys. The guy that I have loved for a while, well the better part of a year, is mine. And he loves me back. Squee. Work is finally amazing. I’m still a little stressed about it, bit for the most part I can leave it at work. My friends and family are still fabulous. There is a bit of uncertainty about where I’ll be living soon, but I’m taking it as it goes. I know it will all work out. I haven’t ever really been this centered or focused on life. All of my past is fading behind where it needs to be. I couldn’t ask for more. I hope everyone can find something to be happy about today. And tomorrow. And even tje next day. Life is hard, loves. But so amazing. With love and great music, Devan. ♥

Under Pressure (Isolated Vocals) - Queen & David Bowie

    This is utterly amazing.

  8. Recently, I’ve been defending metal and “hardcore” music more and more. I don’t know why, but it just seems that people have been attacking it around me a lot. And it could because of my influences, my boyfriend is huge into metal, but I feel I need to defend it. Now, I’m all about people having freedom to like whatever music they want. Sometimes, in the case of most pop stars/songs, I wish people made better musical choices, but they are their own. What I do not agree with is people bashing musical genres. I don’t care if you have listened to them or not. If you have, you didn’t like it, fine. It’s not for everyone. Nothing is. If you haven’t even given it a shot, how can you know? How can you blanket judge something you’ve never given a shot. I know it’s not for everyone, and honestly it shouldn’t be. However, there are musicians who put time, effort, energy, blood, hard work, and passion into this music. As do most musicians in all genres. So for someone to completely disregard their music as noise seems truly unfair. It might not be your cuppa tea. I understand. I love a lot of metal, and there are some bands that I cannot handle. But I give them their dues. Just like I do in country, pop, rap, indie, punk, classical, or polka. I honestly wish more people liked more music than one or two genres. I wish more people could experience the offerings and effort of talented folks from all over. If you can’t, no worries. Just let me have mine, without all the flack. That is all I’m asking for.

  9. On one hand, I am very sorry I asked the question. I shouldn’t have, it was rude of me. I know what has happened, and I shouldn’t have. But another part of me is angry because I have to feel bad for asking the question. Why is my pain not relevant? Why can it only be one or the other? Everyone has pain, and it is so real to them. It doesn’t matter what it is, or if it’s “worse” than someone else’s, because to them it is the end of the world. So no, I shouldn’t have said it. But you should accept the pain that I had just as much as what they went through.
